12th Asian Symposium on Microbial Ecology

Welcome Message

Dear ASME members and colleagues,

ASME (Asian Symposium on Microbial Ecology) is back!!!!

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the ASME conference could not be held for the past 3 years. However, we decided to hold this year’s conference with the conviction COVID-19 will not prevent physical participation... ASME conference brings together scientists in the field of microbial ecology, with an average of around 400 international scientists representing all countries in Asia. We would link to cordially invite all of you to the 12th Asian Symposium on Microbial Ecology that will be held in Jeju Island Korea in April 17-19, 2022. Jeju Island is where 1st ASME was held. We are preparing for the ASME as a hybrid conference: on-site meeting for Korean participant and online for foreign participant only in the hope that all participants will be able to come to Jeju Island. Thus there is a hope that all ASME participants will hold a face-to-face conference. The Venue is Jeju Shinhwa World located 30 min from the Jeju International airport by public transportation.

We will be organizing six scientific session and three keynote lectures that covers not only the current microbial ecology researches. Please explore our website to learn more about the meeting, the venue, the scientific committee, the program, social events, and to receive information on how to register and submit abstracts. Opening of registration and submission of abstracts will start around the 1st of March, 2022.

A warm welcome to Korea in April.
